This week, I built 2 different things on Base - I started the Base Unilag community in my university with the aim of getting more students to build om Base and explore the Base ecosystem. And this was inspired by @kokocodes So far, we've created a Twitter account and a telegram channel. The students that have been onboarded are in the process of getting their farcaster account. Mansa is a defi platform that provides liquidity to multinational blue-chip companies in emerging markets. a common issue I see on sites using CB Smart Wallet is that the pop up gets blocked on safari, and the ui errors out. we experienced this too while building moshicam and for us the solution was to not trigger the tx confirmation pop up asynchronously. safari wants you to open the popup immediately when the user clicks

This week, I built: - I posted this design (first frame) I made on my whatsapp status every morning with the caption "Based". By the third day, I started getting questions and it was a good conversation starter to tell my contacts about what the base community is, I have been able to generate interest in some folks and I hope that by next week, I'll onboard a good number of them to the @baseafrica community. - I also was a guest on the space (second frame) organised by @kokocodes to ask him and @bernard0 about their Summer Onboarding project that won in the just concluded Hackathon organised by @base . It was a great avenue for me to build my public speaking skills and also put myself out there.
