Ghost in the Shell. Strange one, never liked anime as a kid. Then The Matrix came out, so was "forced" to watch Ghost in the Shell. That got me hooked on anime.

Actually found it very stimulating. Dystopian sci-fi is definitely my jam. I wish someone would do an anime vased on one of Isaac Asimov's creations. Plenty of movies, but no anime so far. His writing lends itself very well for it.

Oh, I completely agree. There is so much that could be done with Asimov's work. Japanese animation struggles to delve into niche areas, likely due to budget constraints and the dominance of Shonen Jump, which doesn't help in creating this kind of anime. But that would be great, I love Asimov 🔥
