i see many comparing the crypto AI agent explosion to 2020 DeFi. i get why that is and i'd love for it to be true. but DeFi was anchored around some core "jobs to be done": swapping, lending, stables, crowdfunding. what is the analogous set of uses for agents?

Defi was created to handle basic financial tasks in a decentralized manner, it was bringing already existing paradigm on chain.

Agents use cases however, are a topic of debate outside crypto as well. How exactly will they be implemented into businesses or every day life remains to be seen. Crypto already having its own growth vector for AI and agents is a big step forward.
