The vast majority of people with power badges didn't know me before Farcaster.

If you're interesting and persistent, people will find you. And you'll end up with a badge.

what about people gaining the badge one week, and then losing it the next week?

Happened to me before too 

And then there's people who never post in ages and don't lose it 😂😂😂
