In the "Get Schwifty" episode, Rick asks Morty to pray and accept Jesus, parodying the trope where characters turn to religion in crisis. It's both a comedic take on desperate prayers for divine intervention and a commentary on how people often seek faith only in dire situations. It’s humorous bc Rick is an atheist

you remember the part where he asks Morty to pray with him and he does a whole confession that he’s accepting Jesus as his personal Lord and savior? 😂was it a metaphor referencing that Jesus saves and heals and answers prayers and stuff.
