Hey @jacek just a heads up, new people to farcaster who want to tip and get involved with DEGEN need to buy 10,000 tokens, but that's currently over $500. I think you need to lower the buy-in entry amount or a key part of the DEGEN flywheel is lost, right? 👍

I think a different frame is: they should build something worth 10k in tips. At least in my experience, the goal isn’t to buy, it’s to build and get tips. Building can be anything from software, to organizing meetups, to writing. It’s ok if the barrier is higher now, since the stakes (and rewards) are higher

The requirement is more than necessary, to avoid fake bot accounts, which also prevents people who are not interested in the project from just coming to farm and leaving. Keep in mind that when the decision was made it was just under $10, and here you can see the results of that rule
