Have heard great things about Firestone Walker Invitational but have to say Snallygaster in DC (despite not being in this list) has been my favorite one so far.

Ahh I wish I could have attended Wakefest. Huge fan of J Wakefield.

Curious why you'd be ok not going to another beer festival? Too hectic?

For me, the specific festival really matters... we're oversaturated here, and 90% of them are a money grabbing mess.  Probably only 1 or 2 a year locally that are worth going to.

agreed but why go to a festival when you can just go to monks and sit in the backroom on a random weekday and have a 10/10 experience everytime

That’s fair! Personally I enjoy that some festivals provide the chance to interact with each brewery’s employees and hear more about their story. Also love when it’s in an outdoor setting.
