When you see it, even without the brand name, do you know it's lens? A logo is an identifier more so than a distilled version of the brand promise. In that regard it stands it's ground pretty well compared to a plethora of Web3–3D–pinkpurpleish spinning things with a gradient background imo....

...the whole execution of the visual identity is very professional, down to the color, which is very recognizable. Likeability is certainly wanted but it's difficult to nail it for everyone. Personally I like it, it's playfulness and how it ties everything together. Also the font choice, which is deliberately.....

...simple to counterbalance to the intricate icon itself. I also believe that it's not a bad thing to polarize. In fact, I'd argue it's a good thing for brands to do that. This seems to do that to an extent..which is a plus imo. BUT, of course, that does not mean everyone has to like the look of if. Just IMO. �
