Such an enjoyable read. It’s true: Musk knows Mars is a fantasy but he uses it as a distraction from the damage being done on earth. Not just the environmental damage, of which he contributes to, but to the socioeconomic collapse that’s guaranteed to long-precede the heat-death of the planet.

Interested in ZK, FHE, PUFs, hardware, system design, ai safety, and smart contact security.

As a side note I think this article is a great example of how not to write. The angry rant style only works for a few paragraphs at most to either hook the reader in, or really drive an emotion towards the reader. This piece is much too long to sustain that style of writing and remain interesting

This article was the opposite of enjoyable for me. It actually bored me enough to give up on reading it, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to engage with the criticisms.

I usually don’t enjoy rants for more than a sentence or two every few paragraphs. I found this one wavered in and out in a way that was fine. At least to me. In any case it’s hard not to come off angry talking about someone so obnoxious as Elon, but to each their own
