Haha, in February of 2020 I launched ponzi.finance, which had some people playing with it early on, but was mostly dead. Out of nowhere, about a month ago, someone dropped some 0.11 ETH in, presumably to try to extract the remaining funds sitting in it, and just now someone dropped over 10 ETH, presumably to extract the other funds 😄

Looks like the fun tug of war game that I envisioned all those years ago is finally happening. Some pretty crazy maneuvers are possible, and now with $25k in the pot, we'll see what happens.

Nice I love this concept! the wild Ponzi games of the fomo3d era (and their exploits) is what got me interested in learning solidity seriously

It was actually mostly inspired by compound.finance and all the shitty clones that came after offering crazy yields backed by nothing. 666% APY was insane when I launched, but a few months later all these protocols were offering like 4000% APY etc. That was truly a wild era.

I was aware of fomo3d but never played it.
