3 of them money related, 4 lol marriages are kind of old fashioned idk I know way more people over thirty who are "common law" married than legal court house married

generally agree that the only reason to get legal court house married is for kids 👍 also agree on the expensive nature of kids 😅

My partner and I got married to ease legal hurdles - ensure hospital visitation rights, make it easier if one of us dies to manage the other's estate, et cetera. We'd have preferred to just get hand fasted and leave it at that, but the legal benefits of marriage can't be ignored.
