Kinda crazy we still don't have a non-pegged stablecoin that's widely used yet. Either buy BTC/ETH to hedge against US monetary policy or hold USDC/DAI and get bled out by inflation. We really should have better assets in the middle by this point.

Jupiters JLP is pretty good. More or less stable with good yield. Not risk free though.

I think Ethena USDe is the most interesting approach to the problem right now. Stablecoin pegged to USD but with APY to offset inflation backed by staking yield and hedged derivatives positions on BTC/ETH
