Struggling to reconcile that Bitcoin and USD stablecoins are diametrically opposed assets? Here's the framework you should use and why they are both super important for crypto. They are both arguably more important than other crypto assets...like protocol governance rights or media/meme IP. 😉

Describing crypto to people is hard, because it's not simple enough to say it's new money or a new currency. It's also a new bank, a new credit card, a new monetary system, a new ID, etc. etc. etc.

Bitcoin is volatile and decentralized; stablecoins are stable but centralized. Both are essential, but they highlight crypto’s core tension.
