I was a math kid growing up. Wanted to be an engineer (āmake thingsā) as long as I can remember. But Iāve fallen in love with the social sciences, primarily economics, history, and political science. And Iām glad I wasnāt fed any of it through a syllabusā¦ Iām having to seek truth on my own.

It's a lot easier to study engineering with school's structure and learn the other stuff via books than the other way around. I tell my kids I'll only pay for their college if they earn a STEM degree. I'm not sure whether I'm joking or not. š

Yea actually this is 100% my thought process as well. And I plan to do the same, if my wife lets me :)
