With millions of ways to earn rewards and yield in DeFi, do you get annoyed having to claim reward manually? Would you use an automated tool that make claiming super simple? Will tip $DEGEN 🎩 for good feedback. Explain why you would or wouldn't use the tool.

i would use it (the automated tool) but i must also state that i don’t see any problems in manual claiming at this point in time, maybe its cause i’m new to defi/web3 and i don’t have many projects to claim from/rewards to claim, there’s also a sense of satisfaction that comes from the manual claim although it can get stressful at times. so maybe if my schedule shows that i won’t be free for a proper of time, maybe a month or months to come i’d toggle the tool on for auto claims and if not id switch back to manual claims. Also to explain the euphoric feeling that comes with manual claim, this about the last degen claim and now think about the next one, nothing beats that ;)

I don’t know if your familar with claimables offered by rainbow, if they could apply that to claiming degen at the end of the season, that’d be great. And sure, I’d be up for anything that makes user experience more seamless.

I’ll definitely use this tool, automated claim will be very helpful in terms of not having to trouble yourself with the congested site because it happens at times and i’m assuming it’ll consume fewer fees. will make things easier having the tokens automatically claimed to your wallet which has bypassed about 3-5 steps already for you

An auto-claim tool would be a game changer , no more juggling claims, fewer fees, and no missed rewards. But to make it even better, a feature to customize claiming frequency or batch claims across protocols would add control. And if it’s non-custodial, transparent, and lets users optimize for gas, it’d be a must-have for serious DeFi users.

i'm not really annoyed habing to claim manually, since i keep tabs, but some of these claims seem to enjoy changing UI all the time, that's the annoying part for me

Sure i’d use as it would save time, possibly optimise gas fees, and ensure i don’t miss out on rewards. However, it comes with risks like security vulnerabilities, smart contract bugs, gas fee mismanagement. Emphasis on security vulnerabilities, it’s already an issue with manual claims, and then you have the issue of gas fees, imagine claiming something little but the gas fees are high, automatic loss. It’d make sense if there’s a cap on this but ultimately still not smart.

It'd be beneficial for sure but also a security risk, one i wouldn't take. Ham has no claim, tips are sent instantly over hamchain. Hamcaster still manual for now. Degen may do the same (instant send but over degenchain).

I went to close out some positions on L1 the other day and was quickly reminded of how spoiled we are on L2s. Gas was tolerable when it was single digit gwei but anything more and it’s impossible to play with smaller positions. L2s make automation feasible and I’m all for convenience as along as the cost-benefit makes sense.
