What differentiates EVM chains/rollups when they have the same stablecoins, DeFi protocols, and NFT marketplaces deployed across them? My guess right now is the early ecosystem-first projects and the culture that springs up around them. What else?

incentivizing dapp developers (and/or users) developer tooling could also be an interesting differentiator think apple vs android ecosystem

Incentives indeed. 👍 good one. Dev tools seem to be mostly interchangeable if both are EVM.
