what i love about amps is that it is one of the top used frames and doesn't have any funky, hard to grok crypto mechanics

it's as simple as "pay to recast" so users love it

bullish on more frames and use cases that solve common social media pain points that can be powered by micropayments

1 month later, still my hypothesis.

social-first, USDC-first mini apps like @ampsfun (pay to recast) and /flock-in (pay for cameo-like videos) appeal most to the avg consumer, critical for mainstream adoption

my current wish list: tip on a cast, pay-to-view article cc @paragraph, pay-to-view compliment (cc gas)

Agree but would call this "microtransactions" instead of USDC-first.

"microtransactions" will be a resurging crypto VC category once there are 1 or 2 breakout products in this space.

actually find getting $1 of non-USDC annoying though lol there’s no easy way to convert all those tiny token values to USDC in one swoop
