I always hear Chamath / Elon talk about energy costs going to 0 in the next decade or two. What's the reasoning behind it? Nuclear? Better solar? Anyone have thoughts on that space? 🔋

Summarizing here: * Solar is efficient & cheap enough now to install and has near 0 opex => makes every house a net producer of energy * Assumption that ~100M US homes will install solar since it's basically profitable * This forces utility monopolies to change / become more competitive * Costs drop near 0 as a result
