Worked for a pharma company with a drug for transplant recipients.  Came to understand both the extreme burden of kidney failure + dialysis then the possibility of donating.  Was pleasantly surprised by the long-term empirical outcomes data of donors so I went for it.  My donation set off a 6 transplant chain ❤️
