Would you be more likely to buy a song on cooprecords.xyz if it was a coin instead of a collectble?

I prefer a collectible until we can figure out aligning the value of a coin with the popularity of the underlying asset (a song in this case)

I think there’s a clear path towards earning tokens for consuming the song using zkTLS but agreed that it’s unclear how to best mirror the popularity in the short term.

I would argue memecoins do a pretty good job of this on SOL today for viral trends but curious if you think otherwise

For trends, yes, for content, no

The difference is that trends continue to produce content and therefore continue to capture attention and stay relevant

Songs are better than other media in this regard since people will listen to songs multiple times but then what you have to trade is the "derivative of playcounts"
