Would you be more likely to buy a song on cooprecords.xyz if it was a coin instead of a collectble? Why or why not?

No please no I don't like this concept this would turn me off collecting Music altogether and I love collecting and supporting Artists. I don't like what Zora has done either with every post is a coin for me that just devalues art and music going forward personally

I prefer a collectible until we can figure out aligning the value of a coin with the popularity of the underlying asset (a song in this case)

i’ve only collected 3 songs and if i were to collect more i’d rather them be a collectible than a coin.

When it's in support of an artist that I love, I want whatever the artist says they are into and want. so either would work there. If I'm speculating as a trader, I would prefer a coin as there is cleaner upside potential for all the reasons coins are efficient. tension between both.

I prefer collectable 100%. BUT. What if you had to burn coins to listen/download? The coin burning redeems download/collectable.

would by any song, be it coin or collectible, so long as it accrues a small percentage of the streaming royalties —would be really fun to bet on emerging artists.

my initial reaction is that i think i would be less likely to do this as an artist and as a buyer. the value to me as a buyer is that i own the collectible. assuming that there is music attached to the nft, i'd rather be able to do what i want with it (likely won't sell, but the option is there). it's like a physical good to me. as an artist, when it's a collectible, i am (likely) compensated by the sale of the collectible. when it's coined, i have to sell to be compensated. it's almost like i'm selling on my fans. would love to hear other points of view.

For a weird reason I'd say coin is more consistent with way music is listened than other type of art/content. It might be linked to the fact that music isn't meant to be unique or limited but played and listened by most while other art forms are.

I’d like to onboard an artist onchain. How can I easily get them to use this platform without any knowledge of web3?
