Noticed that ~100k+ followers got erased over the last few weeks.

Went from 424k to 332k.

I think this is extremely healthy and want to see more of it.

More followers as vanity metrics are net negative.

The closer we can get to an accurate representation of real users on the platform - the better and more seriously it will be taken.

I still think this number is overblown and believe the Weekly Rewards leaderboard is a much better pulse on the best, most high signal users to follow on this app.

They removed users marked as spammy from the count, casualties are involved, but a good correction indeed💆🏻‍♂️🖤

Less bots = Greater engagement rate = More push from Algo. 

At least that's how IG works. Surely most social media platforms work too
