im convinced the future of music is onchain streaming: subscription cost goes to "credits/tokens" that are spent to listen to song and goes directly to artists

how do you solve the distribution problem today? in that most large artists leverage spotify for capture, don't care as much about streaming $, but use it to get fans in seats/merch/etc

Valid point on large artists. Think it benefits the longtail of artists. Think distribution becoming less important as artists get discovered on other platforms. If you are good at social you can control your distribution. Seeing this in some ways: 1. Big artists dropping songs on IG first. 2. People gaining an audience through social first then transitioning to making music.

totally. I think another big opp is lumping artist revenues in a larger perks pool for fans (buyers). so if you buy into the artist, your holdings give you claims to revenue, access, etc. as a fan, I may buy in because I want the association and responsibility, and I hold because I can share earnings/rewards alongside my artists success.
