Most interesting part of the @threadguy stream today was hearing the perception ETH has from a lot of the most culturally relevant accounts today. ETH has been sideways for 3 years. Believe by many to be the "worst coin" of this cycle. The belief is that anyone new and young is going straight to Solana - and that SOL are the casino chips. Networks like Base and Abstract are cool within the context of the EVM landscape but they're not even a part of the conversation on these streams and ETH is legitimately a laughing stock/boomer coin at this point. Really makes you question what this year has in store and if there's actually a real chance ETH can go to ATHs again.

I think eth’s price will be driven by institutional adoption more than the gen z gambling crowd. WLFI buying eth like there’s no tomorrow seems to confirm this idea. I’m probably wrong (I usually am) but I think Solana is catering to the absolute lowest common denominator and it’s going to end up biting them in the ass. It’s hard to take anything on Solana seriously (for me).

Doesn’t that almost make you bullish? Everyone is expecting Solana to pump, but if ETH starts pumping at all, people will freak out and start saying how great it is again and how everyone was wrong. Just need that first pump

culturally relevant and cultural value are two different things. little concern for the opinions of people leading an extractive and vacuous culture

They'll buy Eth at much higher prices 🤷‍♂️ that's how market psychology works right, despite knowing better most people still sell the bottoms and buy the tops.
