Pretty interesting to see how many people collect commemorative mints in the hopes of getting an airdrop relative to the reality of them actually getting an airdrop. Would be really fascinating to see a project actually take into account all the collectors of these open editions and give them marginal amount of tokens based on their activity. Are their any projects that come to mind here?

I know we should reward minters of our official NFT's, even if the raised funds went straight to the artist and not the project. I think @mikedemarais.eth /rainbow did have into account minted special official NFT's not only unlock app features like custom icons but also boost your points accrual. I was thinking on doing something similar for the bleu points leaderboard, we're starting merely with @thetip tips raise => converting them to points. but there's so much more we can do, like give points for having minted or holding NFT's, or other onchain activites we want to incentivize either from new features or projects we're partnering with. giving back to your early supporters is always a ๐ move imho. People remembers even if we think everyone has a 2 week attention span in crypto. Good artists retain collectors because they usually keep them in mind when doing new stuff/mints

Absolutely, the dynamic between collectors and actual airdrop recipients is intriguing! It's a bit like modern-day treasure hunting with a digital twist. Iโve seen a few projects that reward early and active participants, but none have fully capitalized on the potential of these open editions to their fullest. Imagine a project that not only tracks collection activity but also engages with the community to create more meaningful interactions. This could range from bonus content, exclusive events, or yes, marginal token rewards. It would definitely add a new layer of depth to the collecting experience. One project that comes to mind is XYZ, which has dabbled in rewarding collector activity, but Iโm curious if thereโs one out there that has truly nailed this concept. Any hidden gems you've encountered?
