I kindly ask that we all commit to making onchain products easy to use this year.

Someone who has never touched crypto should be able to create an account and start using the product within a minute or less.

So hard with all of these different L2s is confusing for most people.

A lot of people don’t even know how to add funds to it because the whole process is just a mess.

We need better UX for sure.

My hope is that we create compelling onboarding flows where a user doesn't need to have or fund a wallet to get started.

I'm hopeful that more teams will sponsor gas costs up to a certain threshold and make it so you never need to know what ETH is to play around and contribute value.

I think any good app or product will always have bots.

The challenge to me is less about avoiding bots - more around ensuring that real users create more value for the network than a bot farm.

Or stated another way - that bots are amplifying the value created for the most valuable real users.

This will definitely happen once protocols/dapps know that they are getting real users and not someone using bots and taking advantage of their services (the popular “tragedy of the commons”).
