I committed a networking faux pas yesterday 

Someone said “we’re talking about xyz angels” and I said “I haven’t heard good things about xyz angels” and another person said “he runs xyz angels” 💀💀 

To be fair it’s an “investing group” and you have to pay $500 to pitch them. You also have to pay to $1000 to invest and access the “database” of startups they’re talking to. Seems predatory to me

I like that he knows where his company stands now. ♥️ You are doing the real work and informing people of their goofiness. Hopefully he goes home and thinks about it.
