Dropped and smashed my phone. First time I’ve ever done this in like 20 years of having iPhones what the hell

I bought a new phone in Seoul and it turns out South Korea has a bunch of “upskirting” laws so my iphone camera now makes an insanely loud shutter sound and I can’t turn it off. 

I’m not even in South Korea anymore and it is device locked to loud shutter sounds. So bad. Why do bad things happen to good people

Apparently you can disable the shutter sound when you are outside Korea and Japan, according to Apple’s discussion boards
