I’m full time doing the Ethereum Protocol Fellowship program rn.

epic! i assume that was an application process? how long does the fellowship last?

Yep! there is an application process to receive funding. I’m pretty sure I was accepted because of prior contributions I made to Lighthouse regarding light clients. It’s a 4 month program.

and what's success look like for the fellowship?

The program is sort of supposed to lead to core dev work. So in that case maybe work for Lighthouse or Reth team. I might do application layer stuff instead though. I studied architecture in school and kind of miss design. 
Success in the fellowship for me would be improving rewards. And pushing ePBS forward.
