This Year I Built: I took a deep dive into the world of blockchain scalability by studying Layer 1 and Layer 2 rollups. These solutions are reshaping Ethereum's scalability landscape, and I explored how rollups work, the differences between ZK Rollups and Optimistic Rollups, centralized sequencers, and the critical rollup stages that make everything tick. @l2beat became an invaluable tool for tracking rollup projects, and I’m currently immersing myself in Zero Knowledge Rollups, with Optimistic Rollups next on my radar.
