One suggestion: the leaderboard should be reset to zero for everyone.  Continuing at this rate. We will have the same set of people for the next 14 days as well

it's continuous, it takes the last 14 days into account... so in effect in 14 days the leaderboard would be as if we reset it to 9 today

Oh true!!. It’s not exactly the same though. I remember you started rewarding around day 10 or so. This would take account of four days in the previous cycle rather than only the past 10 days.

Oh I see. Cool I think 7 is okay too.
Another Idea that might make it more open: Rewards the top standings everyday in a 14 day cycle.
1. Everyone starts from zero
2. From day one, who is top three gets some rewards
3. Standing tiebreak is determined by time (earlier = better)
4. Up till 14 days then back to zero again

yes, not the same. i started the rewards after first 7 days. that doesn't mean it's an ideal length, 14 seems right at the moment.

though there's a discussion about whether to shorten the cycle.
