Yes, you have to agree with the comments that confirm with designed algorithm in favor of whales. You will lose community's trust when the daily efforts of the community are not important. At first, I thought this new decision would pave the way for more decentralization, but seeing the results, it is clear that it is quite the opposite! The whole new algorithm clearly says that everything is for the benefit of the whales, not the community.

I frequently tried to warn how staking would affect everything. OpenRank was nearly perfect; we just needed more time. Now, we'll see how this will change FC's quality content. Let's see what happens. I believe this season 5 has been the best we've had, especially after the bot havoc ended, giveaways vanished, quality content rose, and overall FC behavior improved. However, I'm worried this could all reverse. People will likely focus on straight exchanges of tips as a yield from their staking. There will be exceptions, of course, but this is the general trend I anticipate. They'll need motivation for staking and for locking in their position for three months. Imo this will be a disaster. I truly hope I'm wrong.

I totally agree that season 5 was really improved, although it was hard for those who didn't have a lot of allowance! But over time it was improving and we could see it clearly. Bots and farmers were largely eliminated and people were looking for quality content and real interaction. I know it takes time, but If the result of the new algorithm is what we see now, it will be very disappointing.

Yeah, the worst part, in my opinion, is that with this new staking route chosen, I think reversing back to what we had is impossible. The locks will keep happening, extending this flywheel indefinitely. Many people will be justifiably angry if this ends prematurely before their locks are completed. So, we're tied to this new system for a long time.
