Why aren't you "marketing" to increase the number of "creators" to increase supply of interesting and entertaining content?

- Marketing is something you do when you have a clear, repeatable value prop; it's a post-product market fit behavior

- Sales is what you do when you haven't figured out the repeatable process and requires a lot of talking to users, product iteration; if you don't have a repeatable sales process, this cannot be outsourced beyond the startup's founders

as someone who straight up asked @dwr.eth for a job once and regularly gets tagged in “hire ted” casts or DCs

i’m 10000% aligned with his take on focusing on product and not marketing for growth

in fact, my POV is that it would be dumb AF to hire a marketing team right now

what would they do? what would i do?

I’d sit all day cold emailing and LinkedIning Influnencer Markerting teams at large companies

I’d discuss with them the opportunity of paying influencers on FC for sponsorship. 

Together we’d come up with creative ways to engage with FCs vibrant and loyal ecosystem

One way to get content creators is to have sponsorship money here and have the sponsors suggest to their partners why FC is a great channel
