A Coinbase user was likely social engineered and scammed for 110 cbBTC ($11.5M) on Base last month by a threat actor. The stolen funds were immediately swapped, bridged, and laundered through multiple instant exchanges and funds consolidated with other Coinbase victims on Ethereum. I talk so loud on the phone, I did a call with my therapist once and the whole train heard my sad story. My friends were laughing the whole train ride. My breakthrough: Happiness comes from within.

DeepSeek just accelerated all development timelines. We were settling into the “fact” this stuff was going to cost $100Bs to build, that it was going to be closed source. Monopolised. & then DeepSeek outperformed all leading models at fractions of cost And open sourced the tech Now any AI builder has access to the most powerful model. Truly a gift for open source, and even bigger one for AI development.

That's welcome news. I did not know this! It seems logical to merge or at least mirror the wallet experience. The Coinbase SDK is great. Hopefully they take the brave leap of open-sourcing a version of their wallet UI as well. I still use Metamask out of loyalty. Also Brave has mostly eliminated the need for a separate wallet app in my life.
