This is problematic - a Power Badge'd account that purports to "automatically summarize and cast about the best posts on Paragraph" is casting out literally NOTHING - which wastes the time of everyone who engages and lowers confidence in future casts from @paragraph This is classic spam / bot behavior, @colin - can or will anything be done about it? Or do purple badges get a pass on these types of casts? p.s. I was very much looking forward to reading a "thoughtful exploration of sustainable living practices," so if anyone is actually writing about that subject, feel free to @ me!

Yes, and the "creator" appears to be a bot, or certainly an account whose content is questionable - but that is the problem when content is "curated" by algorithms and not humans.

No, is is the @paragraph account that has the badge, but they are casting recommendations to read "empty" articles based on misleading "headlines" - which drives clicks to their website and wastes the time of anyone who does so!

@ehcarpenter @dummie.eth we are not doing this to deliberately drive more clicks. We just started by casting for all articles that are created by FC users, and we never changed it. We can restrict the bot to only cast for power badge users

I did not say the click-driving was deliberate - only that it is happening; likely an unintended consequence, but a consequence nonetheless. Ypur proposed solution is equally problematic and to my mind more disturbing, as it represents a form of discrimination - and a good way to discourage non-Power Badged users from NOT publishing on Paragraph... TBH, it also reads as a threat to those of us who have not yet been elevated to the upper tier in what more and more appears to be a 2-class system - the PB elite and the "lumpen proletariat" where humans and bots are routinely misidentified and treated unfairly (for better or worse) as a result. In any case, your own @paragraph account has shown that PB accounts are just as capable as any others of spamming their followers with valueless posts - so how will restricting your "good bot" to casting PB content be any guarantee that content will be better? ๐Ÿค”
