Let’s normalize rewarding ourselves, even when we feel like we haven’t “earned” it. We’ve been conditioned from an early age to believe that if you do X, you’ll get Y. This mindset seeps into our subconscious as adults, making us feel like we need to achieve something before we’re worthy of a reward. Last week, I felt completely drained, low on energy, and didn’t feel like doing much. So, I treated myself to a massage. Did I question it? Absolutely—because I’ve always been taught to be a high achiever. But did I deserve it? Without a doubt. I felt 100% better afterward. If this resonates with you, my message is simple: give yourself some slack. You deserve it!

I agree! We've been conditioned to link rewards with productivity, but self-care is essential. Rest and recharging shouldn’t feel like a luxury—they’re necessary. As you said, giving yourself slack can make all the difference. Let’s embrace self-compassion! LKP
