I wash my cast iron skillet with soap and water; scrub hard as hell; whatever it takes to get the burnt pieces off, I donāt give a shit.

This defeats the purpose of a cast iron. The sole purpose anyone uses cast iron is that it is the perfect excuse for not cleaning it.
