Pretty quiet around here. What's your favorite fly and why? Does it catch the most fish, or do you like it for another reason?

Here's my favorite lately. I've been doing a lot of fishing with streamers. Particularly, casting with the Finnish "surfboard" fly has been a joy. It mimics a wounded small fish, floating on the water surface. Stripping the line fast makes the fly splash water, creating an irresistible target.

Avid enthusiast in cryptocurrencies, economics, gaming and flyfishing. Dunno enough yet.

You must be blessed with some aggressive, hungry fish. Where/when do you use this?

Fishing mainly in Central Finland, especially from June to September. In Finland, the protection period for trout begins in September. June stands out as the prime time. Catch and release fishing has improved fish stocks, and trouts are bigger. For consuming fish, I traveling to northern Sweden and Norway.
