Pretty quiet around here. What's your favorite fly and why? Does it catch the most fish, or do you like it for another reason?

Here's my favorite lately. I've been doing a lot of fishing with streamers. Particularly, casting with the Finnish "surfboard" fly has been a joy. It mimics a wounded small fish, floating on the water surface. Stripping the line fast makes the fly splash water, creating an irresistible target.

Avid enthusiast in cryptocurrencies, economics, gaming and flyfishing. Dunno enough yet.

I totally get it :) Fishing with a highly visible dry fly is indeed fantastic.

I’m always usually throwing a hybrid pattern like a buggy baitfish or a shrimpy minnow. Since target species is snook, tarpon and redfish respectively.
