Story time: Hector Lopez: the second Panamanian to play professional baseball in the major leagues (first to have an extensive career) and the first black manager at the Triple-A level. I had to privilege to meet him when I was in my early teens. To note, I’m Panamanian and also a huge Yankee fan… so I’m glad I got this PSA authentic rookie card auto of him. I also purchased a PSA 8 (OC: Off centered) card too. Even though it’s OC, a 1956 PSA 8 is hard to find. Check this out… “During his time with the Yankees, he was often the third outfielder alongside Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle, known as the M&M Boys, as part of the Yankees that won two of the five consecutive World Series they played in from 1960 to 1964.”
