they truly are brilliant, and ya i get that. but tbh i don't know if i feel that way, more so people just framed them as such hoping they'd perform as such pricewise.

but generally yeah i agree. base is more devs than artists i feel. @jack is a 100 year artist imo, wonder if we'll see anything as compelling as those collections any time soon

I own a few swatches lol, those are really nice!

But swatches are still kinda like chromie squiggles derivs for me…

Base needs something more original like Checks/Opepen that creates its own genre and becomes an instant classic imo
