dutch door from a couple weeks back. generously slathered with some “landlord-special interior white”. hot guy build for sure. ngl it was 5 trips to home depot lol. beers or just lack of attention idk. cost me way more than it should have and also realized i had no sizable clamps for wood glue up. didnt even clamp it, nail gun did all the heavy lifting there. dunno how but managed to nail a tolerance of about 1/4” from the opposite wall. heavier than it needs to be, and the latch hardware i bought doesn’t work with the wall placement haha. gonna 3d print some simple receiver for the pin latch. either way, it keeps the dogs out of the laundry room 🙏 realizing that i suck at working with wood at this point but we progress

i ended up caulking the top cuz of the gaps where the tongue and groove bards radius edge meets the edge molding. molding? not sure the right term. prob should have done the same on the bottom gaps
