I feel ya. Do you think it stems from internal or external pressure to ‘do more’? Do you start and then get bored and move on to the next thing? Or move on once it gets hard? Or you just livin the HomeDepot brand line “How doers get more done”?

i think it's less about 'do more' and more about 'ooh shiny new idea'. if i could turn off *new ideas* before i finish the last one i think i'd be better off. boredom is a foreign feeling lately. have bailed on a project or 2 because of failure, but really only because i had another project that was dying to start. i also think the home depot mindset staves off anxiety tbh.

Shinny object syndrome is a struggle. Think it stems a bit from the endless stream of disparate shinny object rabbit-holes the algorithm shows us as we scroll. Our brain lighting up with reactionary ideas at such a rapid pace. Maybe try writing the new ideas down and don’t let yourself touch them without ticking something off your ‘current projects list’. Will take some discipline
