vibrant/electric/explosive makes sense for color exploration. 

but “higher” has the green connotation. aligned adjective exploration could be helpful

not to replace the term, but to aesthetically chase a synonym that’s similarly visceral

whole point it to scale more connotation into the term imo. but not against exploring synonyms as well 

an 'aim higher' in terms of design composability if you will
