Warpcast will remove "likely to be spam" accounts from follow counts soon. 

Likes and recasts from spammy accounts have been removed from counts for several weeks. We're now going to remove follow counts from these accounts as well.

nothing changes but follower count is not visible

quality of content being the leading metric for social signaling. ofc follower count is theoretically tied to that value.

social app that figures signalling other than following count would be interesting.
