What’s Meta using it for? As in that scale?

They were absolutely crushing it in computational biology but then let the entire team go recently. Very sad. We're using their models daily.

I would think that what they're really after right now is (i) understanding of language and (ii) models for 3d avatars as shown in the Lex Friedman interview. Ultimately you want to be able to take a few pictures on your cell phone and turn that into a life-like avatar in VR.
