You can now join /ai-art by clicking on the link in the channel header. This is an experiment. We want to be open and let everybody in, but the flip side is we may have to ban quickly if accounts appear spammy or post low-quality content.

Remember this is an art-focused channel. Just because you made an image with AI doesn't mean it's art. Our intent is to provide a forum and community for artists who use AI in their artistic practice.

That’s a good point because lots of people (or bots) use ChatGPT to create an image and some vague fluff text and post it in an art channel. Ugh. In the end all OpenAI did is encourage the creation of more annoying bots.
