Look at this beautiful "organic" engagement. Can't blame the Warpcast team for insisting on the Power Badge. I'm sure there is room for improvement, but just turning it off would not be great. I wonder though: Is this unique to Farcaster or does X have this also and we just never see it b/c it's hidden right away?

You can blame them, for the sake of fighting bots, majority of legit users are shadowed - including me - for no obvious reasons and remedies btw. Probably you won’t see my answer anyways because of priority mode, give it a try to tag you. @clauswilke

I couldn't tell you if this is worse than power badge ppl making various engagement farm like casts but at least they have the option to opt out of one side, non power badge users gotta see both for what it is 🤣

The problem is there are only 4k power badges. Do we really want to limit the true experience to 4000 people? Excluding a bunch of legitimate humans who feel like second class citizens? I’m confident they could increase the percentage of PBs without much difference - if the PB system works as they say.
