Can anyone recommend further reading on PoW vs PoS? Just finished Lyn Alden’s “Broken Money” wherein she makes a pretty compelling argument for PoW.

This is the most comprehensive resource you can possibly find. The main problem with PoW is the security budget needs to be constantly sold off on the open market. This puts an upper limit to the size of the security budget you can have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m12zgJ42dI

Another massive problem w poW is that economies of scale lead to more centralization over time especially in face of diminishing block rewards. Home mining has been dead for ~ 7 years now. Home staking will always survive
