I don’t think it’s ever low status anymore

Maybe the thing a founder is working on could be viewed as low status.

it's clearer in my head but essentially, being a founder:

- is high status if you're an insider building a company for other insiders which can work but feels very capped
- is low status if you're an insider building a company for outsiders that don't care about your insider status
- is low status if you're an outsider, period

so only 1/4th of the quadrant is high status — while being overrepresented in insider media like X or farcaster

fascinating framework. though crypto/ai might be creating a new quadrant - where outsiders can build for outsiders at scale, completely bypassing traditional status games ☁️
